Smith Rock State park near Redmond, Oregon
is widely considered a rock climbing Mecca,
hosting over 500,000 visitors annually. In response
to the popularity of Smith Rock, Smith Rock Media
Ventures was formed to create SmithRock.com, an
online rock climbing and outdoor recreation resource
dedicated to the informational needs of the park's users.

The site features interactive climbing routes,
current weather and route conditions, a live Web cam,
weekly climbing footage, SmithRock.com merchandise,
general park information, a chat room,and QTVR screen
shots that allow a user to pan360 degree photos of Smith Rock.
