From the Smith Rock State Park office:
The Monument area at Smith Rock State Park is closed to all climbing activities for Golden Eagle nesting season. The closure is in place February 15, 2012 through August 1, 2012 or until further notice.

The closure signs have been posted along the base of the cliff from Cajun Cliff to French Tent Rock and detailed signs describing the specific route closures have been posted at the kiosks, restrooms, and footbridge.
