On Wednesday, Sept 28th someone found a guidebook near the peanut. email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you lost it. I can put you in touch with the person who has it.
The Whitman College Outdoor Program ran a trip to Smith this past weekend (April 8-10) and we left a rope with some gear at the North Point. The rope is hanging from an anchor off the climb "Llamas on the Lam" which is a bolted 5.10b arete. One side of the rope is at the anchor with a big knot in it and the other side is wrapped up in the rope bag at the bottom of the climb. The rope is green, 60 meters and pretty wide (probably 10.2mm-10.5mm). The rope bag should say "WCOP" or "Whitman College Outdoor Program" somewhere on it but it might have come off. All the biners and slings in the anchor have red tape in them. Please contact Lilly at the Whitman College Outdoor Program (509) 527-5965 if you find our gear or know anything about it.
Thanks for your help!
Hi my name is Emily and I believe that I lost my camera at Smith Rock sometime between the 21st and 24th of March 2011. The camera would have been around the Peanut area near the Fourth Horseman, along the trail, or at the Bivouac campsite. My number is 651 206 0767 if you find it! It would have been in a black case. Its a silver/black Cannon Powershot sd750 with pictures of the Oregon Coast and rock climbing at Smith Rock on it (amongst other things) Thank you so much
