Annual Highline Festival

In 2012, the first Highline Festival hosted at Smith Rock State Park was attended by 60 slackliners from all over the country.

With a total of eight highlines rigged, it included the longest established line at the time, “Overdose” authored at the festival by Jerry Miszewski and Chris Rigby–an amazing 382′ long.

The original founder, Brian Mosbaugh, has since moved to be a part of the Moab Monkeys.

He went on to organize the following year’s festival, but has since moved on to other pursuits.
