Below freezing highs for the past few days made things a bit slick around here for the two-legged. The dusting of snow we got today brought that picture to life--skid marks were evident where sloppy footwork gave some a free ride down the concrete. Trails could be dicey too, especially where melt-outs were now mini skating rinks. Parts of the river became wildlife crossings, at least for the light-footed.
But this is by no means record-breaking. Does anyone have pictures from 8-9 years ago when it froze enough for people to make river crossings on the ice? Please share!
