In the second of a five-part series of Smith Rock State Park's annual Oregon Archaeology Celebration 2015, U.S. Forest Service Archaeologist Stephen Todd Jankowski, M.Sc., sheds some light on the how rock features are classified. Come to the Welcome Center yurt Friday, October 9 at 7:00 PM for his 1 1/2 hour talk on "Form vs Function: A Classification System for Rock Features.” The presentation includes a question and answer period. They are open to the public and free of charge with a $5 day-use or annual pass required for parking.
